Student voice is the most important voice in education. When I was approached by EdCamp Global Classrooms to feature my class in a session I absolutely could not resist. My favourite conferences, keynotes, workshops and PD sessions are the ones that highlight student voice and the incredible work that our kids do. #ECGC16 brings the world directly to classrooms, allowing our students and teachers to share the incredible things they are doing! It’s doesn’t get any to more authentic than this! I can’t wait to visit classrooms throughout the world on January 28th and 29th to learn, question, understand and be inspired along side my students.
My students are preparing, and are incredibly excited to present “Life in our ConnectED Classroom” on Thursday January 29th at 2:00pm EST. (Click on this link to take you to the “Events Page” https://plus.google.com/events/cfeacgef6q7kqd5f29umv5u9148 ) They will share the many amazing learning journeys they have gone on and the people they have met and interacted with from around the world. Their work, including photos, tweets, videos, radio clips, websites and blogs will be highlighted. In this highly interactive and engaging presentation, my students will share their adventures and resulting learning and how they are innovating to change the world. Following their presentation my students will answer questions from an incredible panel of guests from around the world.
My students believe our ideas are only as good as the people we share them with. Join us to learn, question and share!
